The Family Justice Center of St. Joseph County serves as a one-stop help center for victims of domestic/family violence, sexual assault, and stalking, as well as individuals 50 years or older who are survivors of financial exploitation and elder abuse. The FJC is a non-profit agency that helps victims and their families quickly and confidentially seek information and easily access resources to help them escape the cycle of violence and move toward healing. Another component of the FJC is S-O-S, the rape crisis center for St. Joseph County, which provides 24-hour crisis intervention, support, and advocacy for victims of rape, child sexual abuse, sexual harassment, and domestic violence. Hospital accompaniment at the area hospital emergency departments is offered. Support groups and counseling are available on-site.

Catholic Charities of Fort Wayne-South Bend
Provides affordable legal services to immigrants who seek to adjust their status or reunite with family. Includes assistance with family based petitions, citizenship, T visas, help completing legal forms, and representation before the board of immigration appeal.

Indiana Legal Services: South Bend
Indiana Legal Services, Inc. (ILS) is a not-for-profit law firm and the largest provider of free civil legal assistance to eligible low-income people throughout the state of Indiana. ILS helps clients who are faced with legal problems that harm their ability to have such basics as food, shelter, income, medical care or personal safety. Most of the cases ILS handles are cases such as family law where there is domestic violence, housing, consumer law, access to health care, and access to government benefits. ILS does not handle any criminal matters. Indiana Legal Services serves clients living in the following counties: Elkhart, Fulton, Kosciusko, Lagrange, LaPorte, Marshall, Noble, Pulaski, and St. Joseph.

Our Immigration Legal Services Program provides vital immigration application assistance and services for the community and is recognized by the Board of Immigration Appeals, along with our bilingual DOJ Accredited Immigration Legal Representative and staff. The BIA, a branch of the U.S. Department of Justice, is the highest administrative body for interpreting and administering immigration law. Center for Community Justice
CCJ empowers Elkhart County by using Restorative Justice to heal the harm caused by crime, strengthen conflict resolution skills, and engage a stronger community. The Center for Community Justice is rooted in the principles of Restorative Justice, assisting Elkhart County through Restorative Mediation and Facilitation, Restorative Reentry work, and Restorative Training.

Elkhart County Prosecutor
The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney represents the State of Indiana in all felony and misdemeanor criminal prosecutions resulting from crimes committed within Elkhart County, Indiana. In addition, the Elkhart County Prosecuting Attorney's Office conducts and supervises criminal investigations, supervises grand jury proceedings, conducts juvenile adjudications and prosecutions, enforces child support obligations entered in divorce and paternity actions, and provides vital information and assistance to victims of crime.
